Habe gerade eine Email aus dem niCe-Kontaktbereich gefischt, es geht um einen Ban. Ich lasse das hier stehen, damit es nicht untergeht. Ich habe ihm geantwortet und darin einen Link zu diesem Thread gepostet.

Hi I was recently banned from your nice-team server on ARMA 2 for no reason at all and was wandering if the ban could be removed. My username is Robbie The Geezer and I had literally done nothing wrong. Some guy team killed me and then I got the blame for it???
I’m a big fan of your server and would appreciate if I could get back on it.
 
Anyway it would be much appreciated if you could remove the ban.

Hi i have been sent to this topic through an email regarding my ban. I am a regular player on your server and it has turned out that the reason for my ban was for shooting at a chinook. However i did not intend to damage the chinook or it's passengers and was simply trying to get it's attention as it was flying off without me. Please accept my deepest apologies for this incident and i hope the ban is removed.

Also i find it difficult to understand that i was banned when i see other people team killing and crashing vehicles often.

Do you have a date and a time and do you know which niCe-member was login as serveradmin at that time ?

Es währe auch von vorteil, das sich derjenige melden würde, der den ban gesetzt hat damit wir die situation kurz geschildert bekommen aus sicht der ausführenden gewalt. Nicht auf grund, damit es konsequenzen gibt sondern damit es nicht wieder keiner gewesen sein soll.

Es War Mike. ich hab die ganze Sache mit seinem Englischen Freund aufm Ts diskutiert.MIke kam auch extra aufs Ts und hat den Vorfall geschildert.Regeln sind Regeln.und Robbie hat sich nicht dran gehalten.was wird hier jetzt so ein Wind drum gemacht??

EDIT:Es Waren sogar beide Arma-Bereichsleiter im Channel

Unfortunately i don't speak german so some of this is hard to understand. The date was 17th October and the time was bout 9:00pm to 10:00pm GMT (london)

Unfortunately i don't know who the admin was at the time.

So will it be removed? I am a big fan of this server and it would be horrible if i was banned. I've been very loyal up to this incident and see multiple people breaking the rules daily and they don't get banned.

Robbie, to tell you the quick version of what they are talking about: we have rules on our server and you broke some of them. Our two arma2-section leader (niCe moehre and niCe Botti) and some player talked about it bevore they set the ban.

Something or a couple of things you did was wrong and against our server rules. If you will tell me, you don't read the rules, you stay banned because every player must know them and you had to see them because i put a trigger, that it will display them when you leave the spawn area.

Dont think about what others did. A teamspeak player saw you and reported you. If you see someone breaking the rules, report him.

Okay i understand and yes i did read the rules. The first incident was when i teamkilled a player called AMOS. However the only reason i teamkilled him was in retaliation as he had previously shot me and killed me in the spawn about a minute before the incident. The second was for shooting at the chinook which i admit was wrong but i had no intention of harming the vehicle or it's occupants and am deeply sorry if i caused inconvenience.

I don't believe my actions are worthy of a permanent ban but if you decide not to remove it i will understand.

However i'd like to remind you that i am a big fan of your server and have had many amazing and awesome moments in it playing with the other guys. It would be a great shame for me and my friends if i could not return =(

Please consider my plea and i hope you remove the ban.

Ich denke ein 24h Ban sollte ausreichend sein, denn er bedauert sein Verhalten und gesteht sich seine Schuld ein, ich denke das ihm die 24 h schon weh genug tun und er dies in Zukunft  unterlassen wird.

Ich frage nochmal warum so ein Wind??? Mike hat den Spieler laut seiner aussage 5 bis 10 Minuten beobachtet und danach entschieden das dieser Spieler nicht im Sinne unseres Servers bzw der Regeln handelt bzw gehandelt hat.Warum wird diese Entscheidung hier durch jede Instanz des niCe.Teams durchgeprügelt??Ich verstehe es nicht...

Grinse, es wird hier nix geprügelt. Es wird einfach diskutiert, zumal es auch Leute gibt die ohne 2te Chance nicht mehr beim niCe-Team wären. Warum sollen andere Leute die 2te Chance verwehrt bekommen. Immerhin hat er sich im Forum registriert, seine Sache geschildert und um Verständnis/Gnade gebeten. Jeder kann einen schlechten Tag haben. Von 20-30 Bans ist es halt der erste der Public seinen Fall offenlegt. Ich hab einen Schweden auch schon entbannt, weil er sich bei mir persönlich entschuldigt hatte nachdem ich ihn gebannt hatte und seither ist dieser nie wieder negativ aufgefallen.

Ich werde mich nochmal mit den anderen Bereichsleitern kurzschliessen.
 
Der Ban bleibt bestehen, keine Frage nur zukünftig will ich eine gewisse Regelung wie so etwas gewertet wird wenn sich jemand entschuldigt und wer für solche Entscheidungen (Löschung eines Bans) zuständig ist (Bereichsleitung oder Admin d. gebannt hat ?)
