Hallo ihr lieben,

Ich wollte euch darüber Informieren das wir den Clarius bei uns als Ehrenmitglied aufgenommen haben, er ist ja schon sehr lange ein Teil unserer Community und hat sich gerade in letzter Zeit im Hinblick auf die Zusammenarbeit und Events mit anderen Communities Engagiert und Mitgewirkt.

Allgemeine Lage
Die Insel Altis steht unter der Kontrolle durch die "Takistan National Army". Dazu Plündern und Brandschatzen örtliche Milizen alles was nur irgendwie geht, nichts schein sicher zu sein. Zivile Personen trauen sich nur noch bewaffnet aus ihrem Haus und das Kriegsrecht wurde ausgerufen.

[18:10] diesel: Server läuft seit Längerem. Man kann alle Dinge auf dem Server im "Trainingslager" testen, inklusive TaskForceRadio
[21:30] diesel: Auf unserem "Trainingslager" funktioniert soweit alles ohne Probleme. Die beobachteten Probleme scheinen auf die Mission hinzudeuten.
[22:16] diesel: Weitere Tests haben eindeutig bestätigt: Die Serverkonfiguration ist in Ordnung und sehr performant. Die Mission selber, konkret das "Objekte auf Karte löschen" beeinträchtigt die Serverperformance so signifikant dass ein Spielen schon mit 4 Personen effektiv nicht möglich ist.

Es lag nicht an den Einstellungen, die MaktoMiela auf dem Server durchführte. Er war hörbar erleichtert.


Der Missionsersteller selbst, meine Wenigkeit hatte etwas Gutes vor gehabt - die Performance zu erhöhen, aber genau das Gegenteil war das Ergebnis.


Es ist ja bekannt, das Rosche generell ein FPS Schlucker ist. Dies liegt an den vielen gesetzten Weizenfeldern, Halm für Halm.

Das größte Feld hat über 36000 Objekte. Bei über 40 Feldern, sind das verdammt viele Objekte.


Mein Gedanke war, mittels Modul diese auszublenden, um die FPS/ Performance zu erhöhen.

Der Test auf dem Server verlief gut und die FPS waren erhöht.


Allerdings hatte ich das Häkchen für: "nur Lokal ausführen" nicht gesetzt. Somit hat der Server die Info, die Masse an ausgeblendeten Objekten, immer und immer wieder an jeden Spieler gesendet. Dadurch wurde mehr Bandbreite genutzt, als dem Server erlaubt war. Selbst beim 2.Versuch, die Bandbreite zu erhöhen, half nicht.


Wir haben es in mehrfachen Variationen wieder und wieder getestet, mit/ ohne Weizenfelder, mit/ ohne Häkchen und die Lösung ist: Finger weg!

Die Felder auf Rosche bleiben und dann muss man eben damit leben.


Ich entschuldige mich dafür noch einmal kniefallend und kann nur hoffen auf Vergebung, und eine Chance auf Wiedergutmachung, in Form einer Wiederholung.
